Testimonials

"We enjoyed to come so close to some animals and feed or pet them and take fun photos together. We learned a lot from our guides Anthony, Kia Ling & James and the animal keepers, too. It was an exceptional and amazing staycation. The kids loved it as well and we added a full day at the zoo on our check-out day. Highly recommended!"

- Family Lange, 2 Apr 2022

"The guides and the tailor tour for the staycation make the different to the whole experience. This is my second staycation, the first one at river wonders blew me off with the back of the house tour and the close proximity our tent is to the manatees exhibit. Our zoo staycation was an unique one from the usual trip to the zoo. Love the location of our tent where you see the sunrise in the morning. Now, I am looking forward to my next trip - Jurong Bird Park!"

- Angie Goh, 1 Apr 2022

"I never knew I’d be so interested in learning about animal behaviors till I came to this staycation experience. The guides were wonderful and very knowledgeable during the tour. I would definitely recommend this to families as a family bonding experience."

- Max, 26 Mar 2022

"One of the best staycation. This is our first glamping staycation and my girl said that she never knew Zoo would be so fun. All the camp staff were so friendly & informative and well organized. A highly recommended stay."

- Neo Bee Hong, 16 Mar 2022

"This staycation experience has definitely exceeded our expectations. The facilitators and ICs were so engaging and make us feel very safe and relaxed. Will definitely recommend this staycation to families and friends for a good bonding time to know the animals better. "

- Perf, 14 Mar 2022

"Staycation in the wild was a different experience from the usual staycation in the hotel. The staycation was well planned with different experiences such as feeding of elephants and giraffe. My favourite segment got to be the mystery animal! I have learned a lot from this experience and this is something one would not get as a visitor to the zoo. Special thanks to Sybil, Nicholas, Hui Min, Anthony & Rong Hao. Nevertheless, the zoo keepers were very friendly and shared their knowledge willingly with us. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! 😊"

- Charmyne, 19 Feb 2022

"The programme provides great hands on experience for the children and the facilitators were very knowledgeable and accommodating. My son had a meltdown when he didn’t get splashed wet enough during the zoo show and the zoo trainers, keepers as well as Philip the seal have to put in extra showtime to bring back the smile on his face. The boys enjoy the 2nd day’s experience the most with a close session with the special animal guest appearance, with a better understanding of their habitats and eating habits. Sherlyn, Jon, Nick, Jia Ee and Hui Min made the staycation memorable and we are excited to be back very soon for another adventure!"

- Liew Yixin, 12 Feb 2022

"Zoo team were very engaging and patient with my kids. Staff were very knowledgeable and willing to share interesting facts about the animals on hand. The overall VIP type seamless experience was well worth it and something I would recommend to those who haven’t tried it yet. Shout out to Wynne, Sybill and Anthony for making my girls birthday a memorable one! "

- Graeme, 5 Feb 2022

"Being already very interested in the behaviour and biology of animals, I didn't expect the guides to tell me much more about them. The guides were so knowledgeable of the animals and still managed to heavily impress me. I learnt a lot more about the animals and even had many opportunities to get up close and interact with the animals. Overall, it was a very entertaining and interesting opportunity for me."

- Justin, 29 Jan 2022

"Staycation in the Wild was an amazing experience for adults and kids alike. Our hosts were brilliant; attentive, engaging and provided such an incredibly informative and educational experience for both young and old. The campsite was beautifully setup, the waterfront location was simply perfect. The animal encounters were memorable, especially meeting the mystery animal ambassador. Overall a truly memorable experience and one we look forward to doing again soon!"
