Discover why penguins are amazing flightless birds! Through music, movement, and observation, children will learn about bird anatomy and observe Northern Rockhopper, King, and Gentoo penguins, before “waddling, diving, and swimming” through a playful obstacle course.

Learning Goals

  • Sharpen observation, language and literacy skills.
  • Hone gross motor skills with movement-based activities.
  • Observe and compare the different types of penguins at Bird Paradise.

Through songs, observation, and hands-on activities, children will explore the amazing variety of bird eggs and nests. They will examine egg and nest specimens, describe their shapes and patterns, and work together to build a nest using natural materials.

Learning Goals

  • Develop observation and thinking skills.
  • Analyse differences between various eggs and nests to understand their purposes. 
  • Practice cooperation and fine motor skills.

Things To Note

  • Availability: Bookings are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Weather Policy: For the safety of all personnel, outdoor programmes may be altered at our discretion due to unsuitable weather conditions.
  • Adult Ratio: For every 10 paying students, 1 adult gains free programme admission. Any additional adult(s) are subject to the regular programme rate. This ratio does not apply to enrichment centres.
  • Minimum Participants: If your group size falls below the minimum required number of participants, you will be required to cover the difference by paying for the additional students needed to meet the minimum requirement.
  • Pricing: Prices are subject to change without prior notice. If you have already made a prior booking before the price change, your booking will not be affected. All prices shown are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of GST.
  • Meeting Points: Meeting and dismissal points will be at the programmes’ respective parks. Please refer to your programme outline for more information on meeting and dismissal points.
  • Exclusions: Programme rates are exclusive of park entry.
  • Meals: Meals are not provided for this programme. Children may pack their own snacks.
