In 2019, we launched a Green Procurement Policy to lighten our carbon footprint and influence the supply chain for sustainable products. The policy provides detailed guidance to business users on sustainable buying and covers deforestation-linked commodities (e.g. tea, coffee, palm oil and paper) and seafood to ensure materials are sourced responsibly.
Choose this one made from discarded fridges, home appliances and single-used plastic! The recycling journey for each bag can be traced, too.
Follow and learn more from Waste2Wear.
Mandai Wildlife Group and Waste2Wear believe in recycling plastic responsibly and making each reusable piece count. Compared to producing virgin polypropylene (the second most widely used plastic in the world), a lot less energy, CO2 and water was used to create this recycled bag.
Please use it again and again.
What’s more, all proceeds from the sale of each bag will go into wildlife conservation efforts in Singapore and the region.
F&B items for people are not the only menu items sustainably sourced. We support local produce where possible, diversifying and sourcing for more sustainable alternatives for our animal feed.

We also embrace the use of “ugly greens” as animal feed — these tend to be rejected by human consumers for cosmetic reasons although they are just as nutritious as “good-looking” ones. Leftover broccoli stems from our kitchens are also set aside for our babirusas, who love a fibrous snack.
