Terms and Conditions

Eligibility and Verification
  • To qualify for school rates, do register at least one month in advance of the school's visit via the Registration Form/purchase of tickets via the Education Portal is mandatory.
  • Students must wear their official school uniform or school T-shirt for the school rates to be applicable on the day of the visit. If the school do not have any uniform/t-shirt, a lanyard or any other form of identification to verify they are from the school must be worn.
  • School rates are not applicable for private events, including but not limited to family days.
  • School recce visits require registration at least one (1) week in advance to qualify for school rates. This one-week notice period excludes weekends and public holidays.
Ticket Types and Complimentary Admission
  • Children below 3 years of age receive free admission on the day of the park visit.
  • For Wildlife Park Attractions (Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Bird Paradise, Rainforest Wild ASIA and Night Safari) - For every ten (10) paying students, one (1) adult will receive complimentary admission (a 10:1 ratio).
    • This 10:1 complimentary ratio does not apply to tuition centres, enrichment centres, polytechnics, or universities.
  • For Indoor Park Attractions (Curiosity Cove) - For every ten (10) students, one (1) adult will pay $3.00 (a 10:1 ratio).
    • This 10:1 complimentary ratio does not apply to tuition centres and enrichment centres.
Park Services and Add-Ons
  • Complimentary tram or shuttle service (where applicable) for Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise is included with the admission ticket.
  • Additional experiences, such as the Amazon River Quest and Carousel, are optional and may be purchased separately.
    • A minimum height of 1.06m is required for any child to ride the Amazon River Quest. Full details are available on our website.
General Conditions
  • All prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of GST. Prices are correct at the point of communication but are subject to change without prior notice.
  • All park ticket sales are final. They are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of when or where they were purchased.
  • Park tickets are valid for one full day. Guests may exit and re-enter the park on the same day by presenting their admission ticket or delivery order at the entry gate.

Are there first aid facilities in the parks/attractions?
Yes, each attraction has first aid stations staffed with trained medical personnel. Locations of these stations can be found on Parks/Attraction Maps.

Macaque Advisory

Wild macaques in our parks associate baby prams and plastic bags with food. These macaques are not part of the animal population under our care. If you encounter them, please remain calm, keep all food out of sight, and walk away. Should you require assistance, please call +65 6269 3411.

Are we allowed to consume food and drinks during presentations?
For the safety of both guests and animals, the consumption of food and drinks is not allowed during presentations.
How do I purchase and participate in the 'Feed the Animals' sessions, and what payment methods are accepted?

Animal feeding programmes are offered at Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari, and Bird Paradise. To book, select the programme as an add-on purchase on the ticketing page. All payments for these experiences must be made online at the time of booking.

Note: There are currently no animal feeding sessions available at Rainforest Wild ASIA.

What animal presentations are available, and do we have to book seats to watch them?

Animal presentations are available at Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari and Bird Paradise — here’s our full list of animal presentations.

While presentations at Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise do not require seat booking, the Once Upon A River presentation at River Wonders and the Creatures of the Night presentation at Night Safari require booking online.

Is there an admission fee for presentations?

Our presentations are a complimentary part of your admission experience.

Will presentations continue if it rains?

Presentations may be shortened or cancelled in the event of rain or other unsuitable weather conditions.

What other activities can students enjoy besides seeing the animals?
They can enjoy the Treetop Play in Kidzworld, Singapore Zoo, where they can climb and explore, or they can have a splashing good time at the water play areas: Splish Splash at Singapore Zoo and Egg Splash at Bird Paradise!
Booking (Free & Easy & General Programmes)
What is the admission rate for toddlers and infants?
Admission is free for children under the age of 3. For verification purposes, you will need to send a consolidated list of their names and corresponding birthdates to our email address within 10 business days from the point of your registration.
Some of our students are members. Can they use their membership to enter the park?
Members using a Family Membership for complimentary admission should proceed directly to the entrance to scan their e-pass. If parents are not attending, they must provide the teacher-in-charge with an e-membership copy (QR code and picture visible) on the day of the visit.
Can we come for a recce before the visit?
You may conduct a recce trip to your selected park during its regular opening hours on weekdays. The admission rate for this is $23.00 per adult, and you will need to make a registration at least one (1) week in advance to qualify for school rates. This one-week notice period excludes weekends and public holidays.
Where should our students board or alight from the school bus?

The Coach Bay is our sole designated area for students to board or alight from school buses.

What education programmes are available to schools?

Does the programme fee include admission?
No, programme fees do not include admission.
Why do I need to pay for admission when I am only interested in the programme and not going to explore the park after the programme?

All programmes at Mandai Wildlife Reserve are conducted within our park grounds, requiring access through the main entrance. 

Is there a minimum pax for each programme?

Yes, the programme listing will indicate the minimum pax required for each programme.

If your group size falls below the minimum pax, you will be required to cover the difference by paying for the additional students needed to meet it.

Where will the programmes be held?

Indoor programmes are usually held at their respective parks’ learning centres. Guided tours will be held on-site at their respective exhibits.

What happens if it rains during an outdoor programme?

Our staff will take the necessary precaution of guiding your group to the nearest shelter.

If the weather continues to be unsuitable, we may adjust the programme to provide a more appropriate experience. We highly recommend that all participants bring their own rain gear.

Can we bring our own food into the park?
You are welcome to enjoy your meals and snacks anywhere in Bird Paradise, with the exception of the eight walk-in aviaries. Please help us keep the area clean by disposing of all litter in the litter bins.
How much time should I allocate for a visit?

While subjective, you can easily spend at least half a day or, an entire day, exploring the park and presentations.

Is the park wheelchair/stroller accessible?

Yes, Bird Paradise is designed to be fully wheelchair-accessible, with seamless movement between most zones.

Complimentary wheelchairs are available for loan on a first-come, first-served basis, and strollers/wagons are available for rent.

Can I exit and re-enter the park on the same day?

Yes, you can exit and re-enter the park on the same day by presenting your ticket/delivery order.

Is there a tram service?

Yes, a complimentary in-park shuttle service operates between the Entrance and Central Plaza. Visitors in wheelchairs must fold them when on the shuttle.

What is Curiosity Cove

At Curiosity Cove, families will be enveloped in an indoor nature setting that is accessible for young children at a scale, pace and level of interaction that inculcates an early love for nature and wildlife through tactile play.

From the woodlands where arboreal flora and fauna thrive, to the river of life in the wetlands – a series of multimedia-enriched sensory adventures encourage discovery by cultivating cognitive, social, motor and locomotor skills against an immersive indoor playscape.

Public opening hours are from 12.30pm-6.30pm, with admission split into 2-hour slots:

  • 12.30pm-2.30pm
  • 3.00pm-5.00pm

School-reserved openings hours are from 10am-12pm.

Curiousity Cove is open to the public on weekends from 10am-6.30pm.

Can I bring my stroller or wagon in?

Strollers and wagons are not allowed past the gated barrier of Curiosity Cove. You may park your stroller at the designated stroller parking area located at (to be updated). 

Is the walkway to Curiosity Cove fully sheltered?

Yes. Sheltered walkways are available from Mandai Wildlife East's multi-story carpark, pick-up/drop-off points and transport hub.

How can I learn about Curiosity Cove before my visit?
Our educational resources and Video Guides are designed for both parents and teachers. They are a great way to familiarise yourself with the new Curiosity Cove before your trip, and help enrich any learning journey!
What should I prepare for my visit to Curiosity Cove?
Come dressed in comfortable clothing for easy movement. Avoid sharp, loose or dangling accessories that could pose a choking hazard or get caught on equipment. Grip socks are required - don’t fret if you haven't got a pair - they are easily available at the attraction's entrance.
Can I eat and/or drink in Curiosity Cove?

For safety and hygiene, no food is permitted inside. Drinks with covered lids are allowed into the attraction.

What’s the age limit for Curiosity Cove?

Curiosity Cove is designed for children aged 3 to 12. All children are to be supervised by a guardian throughout the visit, while children below the age of 6 are to be accompanied by a guardian.

Can I wear my shoes into Curiosity Cove?

For hygiene purposes, shoes are not allowed to be worn past the admission gantry, and are to be hand-carried and placed at the shoe racks within the attraction before entry.

For school groups, designated boxes will be provided for students to place their shoes in. Our staff will then securely transport this box to the exit area for collection before you exit.

Why must I wear grip socks?

This is to enhance safety by providing better traction on smooth surfaces, reducing the risk of slips and falls, and improving overall stability during play. This also maintains hygiene by minimising the spread of germs and protecting feet from potential hazards.

Do I need to purchase grip socks if I already have my own?

Curiosity Cove Grip Socks are included in the admission fee and are mandatory for all visitors entering Curiosity Cove (including those with complimentary admission).

These socks provide better traction on smooth surfaces, reducing the risk of slips and falls, and improve overall stability during play. They also maintain hygiene by minimising the spread of germs and protecting feet from potential hazards!

Note: For general admission, a supervising adult admission is charged at $3.00 per person for every ten paying (10) students (10:1 ratio), except for tuition/enrichment centres. This $3.00 charge covers the mandatory purchase of grip socks for that adult.

I'm an supervising/accompanying guardian, why do I need to change to grip socks?

This is to enhance safety by providing better traction on smooth surfaces, reducing the risk of slips and falls, and improving overall stability during play. This also maintains hygiene by minimising the spread of germs and protecting feet from potential hazards.

What are the sizes of the Curiosity Cove grip socks?

Curiosity Cove's specially designed grip socks fit child feet sizes 2-5, 7-10 and adult feet sizes 35-40, 41-46. Please refer to the sizing chart and samples prior to purchase as, due to hygiene reasons, no exchanges are allowed.

I'm in grip socks, do I need to put on shoes before using the restrooms?

For safety & hygiene purposes, we provide slippers placed on a shoe rack outside of the restrooms for guests to use. Please return the slippers to the designated shoe rack after use.

Are there restrooms in Curiosity Cove?

Yes. There are restrooms located within Curiosity Cove, at Forestlands and Drylands

Are there diaper-change areas and/or nursing rooms in Curiosity Cove?

Yes. There are diaper-changing stations in each of the restrooms. Nursing rooms are also located within Curiosity Cove, at Forestlands and Drylands.

My student injured themself while playing. Do you have medical services/facilities available?

About Exploria
What is Exploria?

Exploria is an immersive, technology-driven edutainment attraction where students explore real-world phenomena through digital expeditions across five themed worlds, encountering diverse species and environments in engaging, multimedia settings.

What are the operating hours of Exploria?

Exploria operates from 11:00am to 8:00pm on weekdays. For school groups with a confirmed booking of at least 30 students, earlier entry from 10:00am can be arranged.

Is Exploria suitable for preschool groups?

Exploria is recommended for students aged 6 and above. Schools bringing preschool groups are encouraged to conduct a recce visit to assess suitability.

How much time should we allocate for a visit?

Schools may explore Exploria at their own pace. An average visit duration of approximately 2 hours is recommended.

Is the walkway to Exploria fully sheltered?

Yes, fully sheltered walkways are available from Mandai Wildlife East’s multi-storey car park, pick-up/drop-off points, and transport hub.

What should teachers prepare before the visit?

How do I collect the wristbands?

Present your name, school name, and order number at the ticketing counter to purchase and collect your tickets. Once collected, scan the tickets at the self-service kiosks (near the counter) to receive your wristbands. Exploria team members will be available should you require assistance.

How do we form groups for the gameplay experience?

You may create multiple groups using your email address. During wristband collection at the self-service kiosk, simply indicate the number of groups and students per group.

Is re-entry allowed?

Yes, re-entry is permitted on the same day, subject to capacity. Please obtain a re-entry hand stamp from a team member before exiting.

What is the wristband used for?

The wristband enables students to interact with digital exhibits, earn points, and participate in gamified learning experiences throughout Exploria.

Is it compulsory to wear a wristband?

While not mandatory, students are strongly encouraged to use the complimentary wristband for a complete interactive experience.

How does the gameplay work?

Using the wristband, students interact with exhibits, complete activities, and earn points while exploring different zones within Exploria.

How can students earn points?
Points can be earned by scanning the “+” icons on digital displays to learn about species, and by completing interactive quests at the Biopool.
Can students bring food and drinks into Exploria?

Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Light snacks and beverages are available for purchase from vending machines within the attraction.

Are there restrooms in Exploria?

Yes, restrooms are available both at the entrance and within the attraction.

Mandai Boardwalk is a scenic 3.3-kilometre-long boardwalk skirting the perimeter of River Wonders and Singapore Zoo.
