Meet Night Safari’s new residents including the park’s first ever
aardvark. Rediscover Night Safari’s wonders with a self-guided digital trail.

Walk and encounter nocturnal animals using a digital guide on the Breadcrumbs app. Discover little-known scenic spots along the walking trail and participate in games and activities on the app to earn experience points and unlock rewards like exclusive enamel pins. Make it to the top of the leaderboards to secure complimentary Safari Adventure Tours or park memberships. Make your next selfie extra wild, with augmented reality versions of the nocturnal animals while you gain insights into their extraordinary traits.
Meet one of the park’s newest residents - the aardvark – along the East Lodge Trail at the end of November. Native to Africa, the aardvark is a nocturnal insectivore that looks like a composite creature with a pig-like snout, rabbit-like ears and kangaroo-like tail. The curious mammal joins other new species to the park, including the giant anteater, capybara, kinkajou and spectacled owls at the walking trails in Night Safari.
Visitors who prefer a live guide and more personalised experience can embark on the Safari Adventure Tour – Insider Edition – where they can traverse Night Safari like a VIP on a private buggy. They will be hosted by their very own wildlife guide and have a giant encounter at an exclusive Asian elephant feeding session to round off the wildlife outing.
Night Safari will resume daily operations with operating hours from 7.15pm to 12.00am from 19 Nov 2020 onwards.

Digital Trails Arm yourself with the Breadcrumbs app and discover hidden secrets of the night. Embark on any of four walking trails and come face to face with nocturnal animals and learn all the mysteries about them. Explorers can participate in activities on the app and earn experience points ‘XP’ that will unlock different rewards.

Meet the Aardvark On display for the first time in Singapore, this South African native got its name from the Afrikaans language, which means “earth pig”. Watch it burrow and forage for insects under the cover of the dark.
