Twilight Encounters promises wildest glow-in-the-dark even at Night Safari

Twilight Encounters, Singapore’s wildest glow-in-the-dark event returns to Night Safari with vibrant geometric animal light sculptures beckoning visitors to explore the park’s walking trails, from 17 November to 31 December.

From a majestic glowing elephant and lion at the entrance to a
Malayan tapir, pangolin, sloth bear and more animal surprises nestled
along the walking trails, guests are in for a spectrum of Insta-worthy
opportunities as they enjoy an illuminating evening at the world’s first
nocturnal wildlife park.

Geometric sculptures inspired by Night Safari’s animal residents punctuate the evening with a warm glow, nudging guests to whip out their smartphones for illuminating selfies with each animal model encountered along the walking trails at the park’s Twilight Encounters event.

The glowing walking trails at Twilight Encounters are amongst the many Insta-worthy opportunities during the annual event, which runs on Friday and Saturday evenings between 17 November and 31 December.

The four walking trails in Night Safari—Fishing Cat Trail, Leopard Trail, East Lodge Trail and Wallaby Trail—offer the closest experience to a night walk in the forest for city-dwellers, with great views of nocturnal animals within natural surroundings.

Aside from the novel animal installations, guests can look forward to discovering mystical Milky Way patterns and shimmering letters embedded along the trails, which will unlock a chance at winning an exclusive elephant encounter. Guests visiting on Fridays and Saturdays over the event period can enjoy photo opportunities with our animal stars, high octane neon dance performances, animal enrichment sessions and more lustrous activities at Zebra Café to complete the shimmering extravaganza.

Guests can look forward to up close and personal photos with creatures of the night like the binturong and great horned owl at Night Safari’s entrance courtyard at 7.00pm on Fridays and Saturdays between 17 November and 31 December.

Night Safari’s Thumbuakar performance will combine elements of neon lights and fire into an energy-charged light show at Night Safari’s entrance courtyard at 8.00pm, 9.00pm and 10.00pm on Fridays and Saturdays between 17 November and 31 December.

Night Safari’s Zebra Café was abuzz as guests jumped in on the action, getting their faces painted before striking their best poses in the Glow Booth.

The park’s volunteer rangers will be on hand to share fascinating facts about nocturnal wildlife before walking guests through the Leopard and Fishing Cat Trails for a glimpse of animals enjoying their enrichment sessions. The activities are part of Twilight Encounters at Night Safari, which runs on Friday and Saturday evenings between 17 November and 31 December.
