We’re on the lookout for curious kids to step into the spotlight to become Ranger Buddies, helping us share the excitement and wonder of this brand-new attraction. Through play and imagination, they'll join our mission to encourage the discovery of nature's wonderful secrets and mysteries.

From hosting videos to leading playful challenges, we invite you to register your child for this unique opportunity! Selected kids will star in a series of exciting content featured across the Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s social media channels (@MandaiWildlifeReserve) and campaign materials.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for curious kids between the ages of 6 to 12 years old, who are naturally expressive, imaginative and ready to embrace the spotlight!

Curious & Full of Questions

Always asking “why?” or “how?”, kids who love discovering new things and aren’t afraid to let their curiosity shine.

Energetic & Expressive

Outgoing and enthusiastic, comfortable in front of the camera, and ready to bring playful energy to every moment.

No Experience Needed

We’re not looking for polished actors, just kids who love play, discovery, and sharing their personality.

Able to Commit

Selected kids will be invited to take part in up to 1 briefing and 3 filming sessions (approx. 2–3 hours each) within the period of Dec 2025 to Feb 2026.

Parents/guardians must accompany children during all sessions.

Who can apply?

Children aged 6–12 years old, based in Singapore, with parent/guardian consent.

How do I apply?

When is the submission period?

Participants can submit their entries between 12 November to 14 December 2025.

Does my child need to have acting or social media experience?

Not at all! We’re simply looking for natural curiosity, enthusiasm, and personality that shine through on camera.

What is the commitment like?

Selected kids will be invited to take part in up to 1 briefing and 3 filming sessions (approx. 2–3 hours each). Parents/guardians must accompany children during all sessions.

Dates will be scheduled mutually, but final selection is contingent upon this availability.

Will I be paid as part of the engagement?

There is no monetary payment for participation. Instead, selected kids will enjoy exclusive perks:

What is the selection criteria?

Participants will be evaluated and selected based on the following criteria:

Artistic and Creative Merit: The overall quality, originality, and creativity demonstrated in the Submission Video.
Production Commitment: The applicant's confirmed ability to fully commit to and meet all specified production requirements and timelines during the required period.

The selection will be determined solely by the appointed judges within Mandai Wildlife Group.

What will the kids do if selected?

They will don the Ranger Buddies gear to appear in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s official social content and digital platforms through a series of videos and photoshoots sharing more tips on play and discovery for Curiosity Cove and other attractions within the precinct.

This will include challenges to fun interviews, ultimately being the face of Curiosity Cove to front the content.

How will we know if we’re selected?

Shortlisted participants will be contacted within 2 weeks after submissions close on 14 December 2025.

Will there be any costs involved?

No. Participation is free, but parents/guardians will need to arrange and cover transport to and from the Mandai Wildlife Reserve for the respective video shoot engagements.
