What is Exploria?

Exploria is an immersive, technology-driven edutainment attraction where students explore real-world phenomena through digital expeditions across five themed worlds, encountering diverse species and environments in engaging, multimedia settings.

What are the operating hours of Exploria?

Exploria operates from 11:00am to 8:00pm on weekdays. For school groups with a confirmed booking of at least 30 students, earlier entry from 10:00am can be arranged.

Is Exploria suitable for preschool groups?

Exploria is recommended for students aged 6 and above. Schools bringing preschool groups are encouraged to conduct a recce visit to assess suitability.

How much time should we allocate for a visit?

Schools may explore Exploria at their own pace. An average visit duration of approximately 2 hours is recommended.

Is the walkway to Exploria fully sheltered?

Yes, fully sheltered walkways are available from Mandai Wildlife East’s multi-storey car park, pick-up/drop-off points, and transport hub.

What should teachers prepare before the visit?

On the day of visit, have confirmed attendance lists prepared by class to help speed up the admission process.

How do I collect the wristbands?

Present your name, school name, and order number at the ticketing counter to purchase and collect your tickets. Once collected, scan the tickets at the self-service kiosks (near the counter) to receive your wristbands. Exploria team members will be available should you require assistance.

How do we form groups for the gameplay experience?

You may create multiple groups using your email address. During wristband collection at the self-service kiosk, simply indicate the number of groups and students per group.

Is re-entry allowed?

Yes, re-entry is permitted on the same day, subject to capacity. Please obtain a re-entry hand stamp from a team member before exiting.

What is the wristband used for?

The wristband enables students to interact with digital exhibits, earn points, and participate in gamified learning experiences throughout Exploria.

Is it compulsory to wear a wristband?

While not mandatory, students are strongly encouraged to use the complimentary wristband for a complete interactive experience.

How does the gameplay work?

Using the wristband, students interact with exhibits, complete activities, and earn points while exploring different zones within Exploria.

How can students earn points?
Points can be earned by scanning the “+” icons on digital displays to learn about species, and by completing interactive quests at the Biopool.
Facilities & Safety
Can students bring food and drinks into Exploria?

Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Light snacks and beverages are available for purchase from vending machines within the attraction.

Are there restrooms in Exploria?

Yes, restrooms are available both at the entrance and within the attraction.

Where are the restrooms located?

Restrooms are located on:

  • Level 1: Near the entrance (right side) and before the exit turnstiles
  • Level 2: Within World of Darkness and Infinite Wonderland
Are there water coolers or drinking fountains?

Yes, water coolers and drinking fountains are available within Exploria, near the entrance walkway and restrooms.

What happens if a student is injured?

First-aid trained team members are on duty. Please approach the nearest staff member for assistance.
