Terms and Conditions
To participate in the Primate Climb, you must satisfy all the following criteria:
- Minimum height: 0.9m. Maximum height: 2.1m
- Minimum weight: 12kg. Maximum weight: 120kg.
- Able to fit securely into the harness provided
- Not under the influence of drugs / alcohol
For your own safety, you will not be allowed to participate in the Primate Climb if you have/are:
- pregnant
- heart conditions
- high or low blood pressure
- recovering from surgery or still in a cast or brace for support
- history of neck, back or knee injuries
- frail or brittle-boned
- susceptible to panic or anxiety attacks
- any pre-existing health or medical conditions
Conditions for a safe adventure experience:
- Sports attire and sports shoes are required. Personal climbing shoes are allowed.
- No slippers, sandals or loose-fitting footwear
- No loose or dangling items/jewellery.
- No sharp objects, selfie sticks or tripods
- No horseplay
You must be in good health and free from any health or medical conditions, injuries or physical impairments. Please seek medical advice if uncertain.
Mandai Wildlife Group reserves the right at its sole discretion to stop your participation in the activity at any time.

How do I book this experience?
Primate Climb is an Adventure+ experience included with your admission ticket. Elevate your visit by taking part in this thrilling activity, available to all guests who meet the applicable terms and conditions.
What are the difficulty levels?

What can I wear for Primate Climb?
We recommend pants for ease of movement and protection from scratches. Dresses and skirts are not advisable due to safety and modesty.
Can I wear my own climbing shoes?
For safety reasons, only fully covered closed toe shoes are allowed. You may wear your own climbing shoes.
Can I wear sandals?
For your safety, only footwear with the following requirements are allowed for all Adventure+ activities:
- Covered toes
- Secure heel strap or back
- Adequate sole height and thickness
- Sufficient outsole traction (For Climbing Activities)
Can I bring my climbing chalk?
Yes, you are allowed to bring your own climbing chalk.
Can I bring my phone or camera onto Primate Climb?
For safety reasons, any loose, dangling or protruding objects are not allowed.
Can I bring my own harness?
All participants must use our approved safety equipment. No other external safety equipment can be brought along and used.
What if I cannot fit into the harness?
Only guests who can fit into our approved set of safety equipment will be able to participate in the activity.
What happens in the event of bad weather?
Primate Climb may carry on in light rain.
The activity will be suspended during heavy rain and/or when lightning has been detected.
Can my child go alone?
Certainly! This adventure is open to all guests who meet the applicable terms and conditions.
However, we would like to highlight that some children may find the experience physically or emotionally challenging. For their comfort and confidence, we strongly encourage an adult to accompany them.
What if I am unable to complete my adventure? Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable.
We advise guests to assess their abilities to complete the adventure.
Are Adventure+ activities included with my Friends of Mandai/Rainforest Wild Adventure WEST membership?
Friends of Mandai/Rainforest Wild Adventure WEST memberships include access to the WEST Zone only, with no Adventure+ activities included.
