This two-day one-night getaway, available for a limited time between 21 and 27 December, allows guests to put on their explorer caps and go on a trail along the Rivers of the World. Get to know our animal family at the much-loved Once Upon a River animal presentation before wandering into Wild Amazonia for an up-close and personal experience with one of the tiniest and cheekiest primate species—the squirrel monkeys in Squirrel Monkey Forest. Then, mingle with a mystery animal, followed by dinner under the stars.
As night falls, retreat to the tranquil Amazon Flooded Forest, where the world’s largest freshwater aquarium houses majestic West Indian manatees, arapaima and a host of other freshwater fish. Unwind over a manatee-inspired activity and learn interesting facts about them, such as how 24 manatee calves have been welcomed since this species was first introduced in 1994. Find out about the epic move of the manatees from Singapore Zoo to River Safari, and try to spot Canola, the first hand-raised manatee calf who is now a proud mother herself. Drift off to sleep, snuggled in the comfort of a glamping tent complete with cushy mattresses and other amenities while the manatees float gracefully by.
Wake up after a restful night’s sleep and start the day with a hearty breakfast before concluding the experience with some special in-house camp traditions.
