Why Exploria is unlike any other attractions in Singapore?

You've probably seen a dinosaur skeleton in a museum. But have you felt the ground shake as a prehistoric giant moves around you, heard its call echo through the air, and watched its world flicker to life on the walls? That's the difference at Exploria.

Most of us move through our lives at human scale, never fully grasping the sheer drama of the natural world — the crushing pressures of the deep ocean, the invisible ecosystems humming beneath our feet, the extreme habitats where life somehow finds a way. Exploria at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve was built to change that.

Forget passive exhibits and static displays. This is a living, breathing, multi-sensory indoor adventure that puts you at the centre of the story.

Drift through the Micro Worlds, where illuminated orbs reveal the hidden universe of microscopic life — each one waiting to be explored up close..
Come face-to-face with prehistoric giants at the Realm of the Giants, where towering megafauna sculptures and AR displays bring the ancient world back to life.

What is Exploria?

Exploria is one of Southeast Asia's largest indoor, nature-themed multimedia attractions, spanning 10,000 square metres at Mandai Wildlife East — the newest gateway into Singapore's Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Across five distinct immersive worlds, you'll explore hidden realms of the natural world that stretch from the prehistoric past to the microscopic present, and from the forest canopy to the ocean floor.

It's an indoor digital experience unlike any other in Singapore —  part multimedia spectacle, part gamified quest. Expect reactive screens, environmental simulators, bioluminescent installations, and RFID-powered interactivity woven seamlessly throughout Exploria.

What to Expect at Exploria

What is the Biopool? Your Gamification Experience starts here.

The moment you step into Our Interconnected World, you'll find yourself face-to-face with the Biopool — a glowing, 4-metre LED globe that pulses like a living heartbeat. And if you're here when The Planet Awakens begins — Exploria's signature light and sound show that runs every two hours from 11.15am — the entire space ignites around you, making it a moment worth pausing for whenever it happens.

But first, this is where your Biopool Gamification Experience begins.

Scan your RFID wristband here to build your personalised digital avatar. From that point on, your wristband becomes your key to Exploria's hidden world. At every interactive touchpoint across the five worlds, it unlocks exclusive content, logs your discoveries, and earns you points — points you can redeem for collectible pins available only at Exploria.

And the adventure doesn't end when you leave. After your visit, a post-visit email links you back to your journey so you can track achievements, download photos taken inside the attraction, and plan your next visit. Your profile stays active for a full year, giving you every reason to return.

Pro tip: Pre-register before you arrive. Once you've bought your Exploria tickets online, you'll receive a form link via email. Complete it in advance and you'll be able to jump straight into the experience from the moment you collect your wristband.

2. Micro Worlds

Flip the lens entirely. Illuminated glass orbs, interactive domes and projection screens bring the hidden ecosystems of slime mould, tardigrades, plankton, and bees into vivid, giant-scale view. These are organisms normally invisible to the naked eye — and here, you'll find yourself immersed in them. Interact with the orbs to collectively trigger spectacular reactions in the towering centrepiece globe.

3. Bitdeer AI Extreme Frontiers

Feel the planet's extremes, literally. Four environmental simulators transport you to a scorching desert (40°C), an icy Arctic landscape (4°C), a high-altitude alpine landscape with wind speeds reaching 70km/h, and a bustling urban habitat — each paired with real-world footage of wildlife thriving in these very conditions. It's as close as you'll get to standing inside a nature documentary.

4. Infinite Wonderland

Descend from a stormy rainforest canopy all the way down to the ocean floor in one continuous, seamless journey. Use your RFID wristband to uncover hidden species camouflaged along the path — some will only reveal themselves when you look carefully.

Enter a reflective, kaleidoscopic cave that transitions into a breathtaking underwater world. Reactive screens unveil marine life all around you, and a wristband interaction triggers one of nature's most extraordinary phenomena: coral spawning.

Reactive screens reveal the strange, glowing beauty of life in total darkness — it's eerie, gorgeous, and unlike anything you'll find at any other Singapore attraction.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Exploria at Mandai Wildlife Reserve?

Exploria is one of Southeast Asia's largest indoor, nature-themed multimedia attractions, spanning 10,000 square metres at Mandai Wildlife East within Singapore's Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Opening on 3 March 2026, it takes you across five uniquely themed immersive worlds — Realm of the Giants, Micro Worlds, Bitdeer AI Extreme Frontiers, Infinite Wonderland, and World of Darkness — you'll encounter environments and phenomena most people never get to experience firsthand, from prehistoric mega-fauna and microscopic organisms to deep-sea creatures and extreme planetary habitats. It's a multi-sensory indoor adventure powered by AR screens, reactive displays, environmental simulators, and a personalised RFID wristband journey.

2. How is Exploria different from Singapore Zoo or other Mandai attractions?

While Mandai's wildlife attractions like Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari, Rainforest Wild ASIA and Bird Paradise focus on living animals in naturalistic outdoor habitats, Exploria is a fully indoor, nature-themed multimedia experience. Rather than observing wildlife from a distance, you're immersed inside nature's most extreme and hidden worlds through technology — AR, reactive screens, motion simulators, and RFID-powered interactivity.

Think of it as a nature-inspired experience that bridges the gap between entertainment, education, and sensory adventure. The two experiences complement rather than replace each other, and Exploria tickets can be purchased along with the single attractions admission when planning a full day out at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

3. How long do you need at Exploria?

We recommend setting aside 3 to 4 hours for your visit to Exploria. This gives you enough time to explore all five worlds, catch The Giants Show (book your slot at least 2 hours in advance) and The Planet Awakens light show, and browse the Exploria Shop. If you're a thorough explorer — or if you have young children in tow — allow closer to 4 hours.

4. Is Exploria suitable for young children and families?

Absolutely. Exploria welcomes guests of all ages, and children below 3 years old enter free with a paying adult. The attraction is wheelchair accessible, and advisories are clearly displayed near installations with stronger light, sound, or motion effects — so you can make informed choices about which experiences are right for your family. For The Giants Show specifically, children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult, and guests who experience motion sickness, dizziness, or sensitivity to light, sound, or mist are advised not to participate.

5. What is the RFID wristband at Exploria and how does it work?

The RFID wristband is your personalised digital passport for the entire Biopool Gamification Experience at Exploria. After collecting your wristband at the entrance kiosk, head to the Biopool — Exploria's central 4-metre LED globe — to scan and create your digital avatar.

As you move through all five worlds, simply tap your wristband at designated interactive touchpoints to unlock hidden content, trigger exclusive experiences, earn points, and collect virtual badges and quest completions. Accumulate enough points and you can redeem them for exclusive collectible pins. Your profile stays active for a year after your visit, and a post-visit email lets you review your achievements, download photos, and plan your return.

6. Do I need to book Exploria tickets in advance?

We strongly recommend booking your Exploria tickets online in advance at mandai.com. Buying online lets you pre-register for your RFID wristband journey before you arrive — meaning you can head straight into the adventure from the moment you collect your wristband. Standard Exploria ticket prices are S$38 for adults and S$28 for children and students. Local Singapore residents can sign up for a complimentary WildPass to access discounted rates: S$34.20 for adults, S$25.20 for children and students, and S$20 for seniors.

7. What should I not miss at Exploria?

Two experiences stand out as absolute must-dos:

  • The Giants Show (Realm of the Giants): An 8-minute, 360-degree immersive experience featuring motion, mist, and cinematic special effects. Book your time slot at least 2 hours ahead, as this is consistently one of the busiest attractions inside Exploria.
  • The Planet Awakens (Interconnected World): Exploria's signature light and sound show, staged every two hours from 11.15am. The entire Interconnected World comes alive with synchronised projections and dynamic colour sequences — plan your visit timing so you don't miss it.

Beyond these, make sure you use your RFID wristband at every touchpoint — you never know what hidden content or experience it might unlock next.

7. How do I get to Exploria at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve?

Exploria is located at 80 Mandai Lake Road, Singapore 729826, within Mandai Wildlife Reserve. The most convenient public transport option is the Mandai Khatib Bus – M2 from Khatib MRT Station (NS14, North-South Line), which runs daily. By car, onsite parking is available at Mandai Wildlife EAST. Taxi and private hire car drop-offs are available at the entrance.
