Sustainable Tourism – Mandai Wildlife Group Sustainability Journey
Mandai Wildlife Group (MWG) manages Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, Bird Paradise, Rainforest Wild Adventure and Mandai Rainforest Resort, as well as indoor attractions Curiosity Cove and Exploria, and the community space Mandai Boardwalk.
As a purpose-led organisation, MWG is committed to caring for the planet and protecting wildlife, while striving to connect people with wildlife and champion sustainable living.
Developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MOE), this resource supports secondary school students studying Sustainable Tourism, and offers a case study on how MWG applies environmental, social and economic strategies to operate as a sustainable tourist destination in Singapore.
