Diversity in the Rainforest

Students will learn about the different rainforest layers and the creatures that inhabit them, and get a closer look at fascinating animal specimens - including a python, tiger, and hornbill.

Body Coverings

Get to explore the different needs for survival and how body coverings of animals meet these needs and help them thrive in their environment. In this programme, students get to encounter the body coverings of a tiger, python, pangolin, and more.

Wild Africa Guided Tour
Wild Africa 45 MINUTESEmbark on a journey through Wild Africa to discover some of Africa’s most fascinating animals! Find out what makes the zebra unique, learn to move like a giraffe, and meet the lion known as the king of the savannah. Get to hear special stories of our animals and how we care for them!

Fragile Forest Guided Tour
Fragile Forest 45 MINUTESFragile Forest offers a multi-dimensional experience of life in a rainforest. Walk amidst fascinating flora and come face to face with ring-tailed lemurs, flying foxes, various butterflies and birds, and more.
Also, get acquainted with diverse and fascinating invertebrates at the Discovery Outpost. Through this tour, discover the importance of rainforests to animals and us, and how we can play a role in protecting them.

A Green Mandai Workshop
Singapore Zoo 90 MINUTES PER SESSIONWhat can we do with all the poo in the Zoo? In this workshop, discover sustainable solutions to the unique challenges we face while running wildlife parks. Step into the shoes of a zookeeper to design and create a sustainable animal enrichment device. Get inspired to do more for the planet!
Design Thinking In Exhibit Design Workshop
Singapore Zoo 3 HOURSDesign Thinking is a problem-solving tool for developing user-centric solutions. We use Design Thinking to curate experiences and solve problems in our wildlife parks.
This hands-on workshop exposes studentsto the real-life application of Design Thinking in animal exhibit design. The students will:
- Practise Design Thinking to collaborativelycreate an animal exhibit prototype.
- Integrate STEM concepts such as animal ecology and behaviour to enhance a design that empathsises with the animals and other users.
- Hone observation and critical thinking skills,and build empathy and creativity.

Fragile Forest 60 MINUTESEver wonder how different invertebrates have unique and interesting ways to defend themselves from predators? Get to also discover why invertebrates are so important to our ecosystem and witness how some of them help to reduce food waste in Mandai.

Camps
Overnight Camps @ Singapore Zoo
This programme is aligned to MOE's Character and Citizenship Education. It also highlights how sustainable solutions benefits people, wildlife and the planet.
Note:
- Programme bookings are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
- For the safety of all personnel, outdoor programmes may be altered at our discretion due to unsuitable weather conditions.
- For every 10 paying students, 1 adult gains free programme admission. Any additional adult(s) are subject to the regular programme rate. This ratio does not apply to tuition and enrichment centres.
- If your group size falls below the minimum required number of participants, you will be required to cover the difference by paying for the additional students needed to meet the minimum requirement.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice. If you have already made a prior booking and purchase before the price change, your booking will not be affected.
- All prices shown are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of GST.
