Replicating a rainforest habitat, Treetops Trail showcases
animals at different layers of a forest.
What makes it unique
From the canopy
The siamang’s calls are probably the first sounds of the wild to greet you. Our pair of Siamangs, Anna and Ako, advertise their presence with the siamang ‘song’ of loud booms and barks. Their throat sac, which can inflate to the size of its head, helps amplify calls to ear-splitting levels. You can hear them from the entrance!
Head over to the elevated platform to watch these acrobatic creatures brachiate effortlessly from branch to branch in the treetops.
Animals
False gharial
False gharials diverged from other crocodiles over 40 million years ago, making them living fossils and offering valuable insights into crocodilian evolution.
